Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryCAROL JARVIS
On Tuesday, December 16, 2025, Carol Jarvis passed into the presence of her Lord and Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ, after a lengthy illness. She was a long-time member of St. James Gospel Chapel and was employed for many years at the Workers Compensation Board and the Winnipeg School Division.
Carol was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister, as well as an avid baker and knitter. She enjoyed many road trips to the Rocky Mountains and Riding Mountain National Park in the family's camper trailer. Summers were also spent at Grand Beach at the family cottage. Her baking was enjoyed by many friends and family, while her knitting kept countless children warm during the cold winter months. She cherished time spent with family and friends around the dining room table and nightly games of Scrabble. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew her.
Carol is survived by her husband Dave; daughters, Heather (Lorne), Suzanne (Steve); grandchildren, Owen, Natalie, Jessica (Will); sister Gail and many other family members. She was predeceased by her mother Jane in 1986 and her father Cliff in 1996. A memorial service will be held at St. James Gospel Chapel, 337 Inglewood Street on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Ronald Moffit Memorial Services are in charge of arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. James Gospel Chapel, Faith Bible Camp or Breast Cancer Research at the Canadian Cancer Society.
The family extends sincere thanks to the staff of the St. Boniface Hospital for their exceptional care during her illness.

I grew up with Carol's daughter Heather, and spent lots of time in their basement, watching Flintstones, and playing in the Holly Hobbie house they had. Carol was always so welcoming and caring. She will be missed. Thinking of you all Heather, Suzanne and Dave. - Posted by: Trina Alexis (friend of daughter) on: Dec 20, 2025
